Top 10 Foundation Facts

    1. The Foundation is a not-for-profit organization whose sole mission is to engage donors to assist Hutchinson Health advance health with the community.
    2. The Foundation has a board of directors that help allocate general funds to the areas of greatest need.
    3. Donors may make a donation using cash, check, or credit card. Monetary gifts regardless of size, can have a significant impact. Donors are able to earmark their gift toward a specific program or leave to the area of greatest need.
    4. The Foundation has a granting process in which the community is able to apply for monies that support local health care initiatives.
    5. Every year the Foundation makes donations to several different organizations including, but not limited to, Hutchinson Health, Harmony River, and Allina Health Home Care.
    6. The Foundation awards $11,000 in scholarships every year
    7. Sponsorships are a vital part of the Foundation’s success. Our partnerships with our Annual Event Sponsors, Circle of Friends, and Patrons of Promise allow the Foundation to continue our mission in advancing health.
    8. Volunteers are an important component of the Foundation. Our committees help carry out our Annual Fundraising Events.
    9. There are two full time staff at the Foundation: Cary Linder, Executive Director and Rachael Gemuenden, Annual Giving Program Specialist. If you would like to learn more about the Foundation we would love to set up a meeting!
