Barb Zajicek-Daggett

Barb Zajicek-Daggett

Barb Zajicek-Daggett
Board Member Since 2013

Barb recently retired from her 30 years as a clinical dentist working in Hutchinson and business owner of a dental practice. Presently, Barb is a volunteer dentist at Wilmar Outreach Clinic. Barb has been involved in several organizations including but not limited to, MN Master Naturalist Organization, Hutchinson Figure Skating Association, Christ the King Church, American Association of University Women and American Dental Association. Barb has a passion to give back to the community to support and contribute to a very worthwhile organization that promotes the health and well being of Hutchinson area residents.

“I was born and raised in the Hutchinson Community and then left for about 10 years to pursue my education. My husband and I returned to Hutchinson to get back “to our roots” so to speak and pursued our careers and began to raise our family.  After 30 years of providing dentistry to the community I retired and then looked for ways I could give back.

I serve on the Hutchinson Health Board as a way to give back to the community and support a wonderful  fundraising organization that is dedicated to supporting the growth of Hutchinson Health which directly benefits the residents of our area.

The most rewarding aspect for me is to serve on the grant and scholarships committees. I’m part of the process to review and award money for many worthwhile community projects that improve the health of our residents and support student education in health care. With increased fundraising participation we can continue to grow the dollars we can allocate to these community groups.” ~ Barb Zajicek-Dagget
